When I first started working with Margaret at Mothering by MOM, I got my first taste of the simple beauty of WordPress, an elegant blogging framework. So of course, I had to have one of my own.

I built my own personal blog with the intention of actively contributing to it but I really hadn't added content until recently. With this site and my work on Margaret's site I had an opportunity to experience the elegance of WordPress as a framework and the simplicity of the theming structure. An excellent choice for a blog site and very easy for a non-technical person to manage content.

Though there is only a mere 6400 plugins that can be used to extend WordPress, this is an out of the box install with only the addition of a photo gallery plug in. I'm sure that I will find some nice additions to add in the future.
